Microbiome Mapping

What is It?

Addressing our microbiome imbalances can help reduce associated health conditions such as, IBS* , IBD, metabolic disorders, autoimmune diseases and food sensitivities. This is due to imbalancing causing our bad bacteria to eat away at the mucosal (intestinal) lining of our gut.

This leads to the breakdown of the structural integrity of our digestive system and causes bad bacteria, pathogens, viruses, toxins and undigested food proteins to enter the bloodstream. This puts additional strain on our immune system and could cause chronic health conditions in later life if not corrected.

Gut Microbiome testing analyses the types of bacteria present in your gut to understand its current state and health. The 'Microbiome Plus' includes additional analysis for a more comprehensive view:

  • Pathogens

  • Parasites

  • Harmful Bacterias including H Plyori

How Does it work?

These tests involve submitting a stool sample that is then analysed in a lab. The analysis focuses on identifying the diversity and types of bacteria present.

Our Microbiome test is an easy to do home to laboratory testing service, where the kit is shipped direct to you and you conduct the testing in the comfort of your own home (or in clinic, at your appointment). The test is a simple at home stool swab where the sample is collected using toilet roll.
Easy right?

Highlights include:

  • Simple at home stool sample swab

  • Register your kit online

  • Complete a simple 3 minute health quiz online

  • Post in any UK red letter box with the supplied Pre paid return envelope
