Description
Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth is the largest contributor to IBS which effects up to 10 million people in the UK.

The analysis of alveolar breath hydrogen and methane, fermentation products of intestinal bacteria post-ingestion of carbohydrates, is a well-proven method for screening patients for SIBO (and carbohydrate intolerances), enabling both rapid diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Our easy-to-use home-sampling test kits enhance the availability of this diagnostic methodology.

We have undertaken the most comprehensive analytical and validation process for SIBO testing. Our methodology utilises 10 samples (at 20-minute intervals) which allows for a higher degree of reporting accuracy compared to protocols using fewer samples. This, combined with our experience in the interpretation of tests in this class, enables us to fully support practitioners in the interpretation of these test results.
